Room was spacious and clean, with great views of the sea and mountains. The location was central and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful in arranging excursions. a great stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right on the waterfront and only about 200 meters from the seafront. It was also conveniently located near the main shopping area, making it easy to explore Reykjavik on foot. The service and staff were wonderful, always pleasant and attentive. The rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms and contemporary lighting. I especially appreciated the tea/coffee facilities in the room and the adequate space in the bathroom. The breakfast provided great options for everyone in the family, including the usual continental fare and some hot scrambled eggs. It was a great value for the price, especially considering the prices in Iceland.

I recently stayed at Fosshotel Baron for 3 nights with my family and we were very pleased with our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room recommended by Natalia, was spacious with a huge balcony. The location was great, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. We also had the amazing bonus of seeing the Northern Lights from our room and the car park outside. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel had a great location, near the seafront and within walking distance of the main shopping area and most attractions. It was also conveniently close to the main bus stop, so it was easy to go on tours. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice hot shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast had a good variety of options.

The only downside was that the room could have been a little warmer, even with the thermostat turned up.

Additionally, transportation was a breeze as it was so easy to catch the tour and airport buses that stopped right outside the hotel.
